The 2004 World Supersport champion, Muggeridge’s career has not met with the same success in the WSB series. Muggas lost his coveted Ten Kate seat after a dismal 2006 campaign. The Aussie was demoted to satellite status with the new Alto Evolution team, where he will rode alongside fellow Australian Joshua Brookes.
Muggas’ time with Alto Evolution didn’t fare well, with the team unable to finish the season in a bizzare unravelling, which included the team’s bikes being stolen.
Muggeridge was looking for better fortunes in 2008 aboard the D.F. Racing Honda, but the Aussie labored to 15th overall. For 2009, Muggas started the season riding for Celani Suzuki squad but was contracted to replace injured Alstare rider Max Neukirchner. He finished in 22nd.
Karl Muggeridge agreed to ride for the HRP team in the German IDM Superbike class in 2010.
