Polini USA has released the new 2009 line up of Italian made 50cc and 65cc mini – motocrossers. Polini Motori didn’t rest on its’ laurels after winning National Titles this year. They went back into the shop and focused on making these mini rockets faster and better handling than last year’s models.

The 2009 XP65 for the 6-11 year olds received a number of improvements to ensure that it would continue its’ winning ways. These include a newly shaped exhaust pipe and silencer, and an all new cylinder and head  with improved port timing and air flow. The engine cases were improved to mirror the factory mod bikes. The engine improvements give it more linear power from the bottom end all the way up. All New ni-trite coated fork tubes decrease friction and improve the effectiveness of operation for the top of the line Marzocchi forks. Just 2 years after being released in the United States the XP65 has been a tremendous success, capturing 2 National Titles, 8 National podiums, and  numerous National top 10 finishes. The changes to the XP 65 will certainly ensure the continued winning edge riders have become accustomed to.

The Polini X3 50 Senior for 7-8 year old riders and racers also received a host  of improvements. The most obvious of these improvements is the new 3 shoe clutch with springs instead of clutch washers. After 100’s of hours of testing, all of the test riders agreed that the new 3 shoe clutch provided better starts and the best performance on the track. It also is easy to adjust with the turn of a nut. The cylinder has been redesigned with the result being more bottom end power and more over rev on the top. This is complemented by the new head which together with the cylinder make significantly more noticeable power. The X1 50 Junior for 4-6 year old riders wasn’t going to be overshadowed by it’s big brothers. It received a lot of the same changes the X3 received such as the cylinder and head improvements and it also received the new clutch.

To handle the extra power, Polini Motori worked with Paoli Suspensions to make these Paoli forks and shocks the best they have ever been. Polini Motori refuses to be content with their high quality Italian engineered motorcycles. One full
floor of their spacious factory in Bergamo, Italy is dedicated to Research and Development where they are constantly striving to make the subtle improvements that give Polini Motorcycles every chance to be the best every year. Expect to see a lot more of the Polini minis rocketing onto the podium.
