The motorcycle industry is well-known for taking care of its own, and has come together in a Big Way recently in support of Sport Rider magazine editor Andrew Trevitt, who was badly injured in a motorcycle testing accident several months ago.

In the past three months, eBay auctions of over 300 donated items have earned more than $45,000 for Trevitt’s recovery and transition efforts. While the last of the original donations are scheduled for posting in the next month, the Trevitt Benefit would like to issue one last call for additional auction items from the industry. Anything motorcycle-oriented of value is acceptable, and 100% of it goes to help Andrew recover.

Andrew has dealt with many surgeries since the accident, and his latest has helped him regain additional range-of-motion in his left elbow. This will help boost his mobility and accelerate his escape from the transitional living facility where he’s spent the last six months of his life. Andrew’s short-term goal is to move into a private wheelchair-accessible apartment his wife Deborah recently rented for them.
