Lorenzo Wears Barcelona Livery at Home Race

Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo unveiled a special one-off livery at the Montmel√≤ circuit in Catalunya today to honour the Barcelona football club, which won the Champions League two week’s ago. The 22-year-old, who is lying second in the world championship, is a life-long supporter of the team and was in Rome to watch them triumph.

FC Barcelona was represented at the unveiling by Jaume Ferrer amd Joan Boix, Vice Presidents of the club.

Lorenzo is ready to ride for control of the Iberian Peninsula. Jorge Lorenzo unveiled a special one-off livery in honour of the Barcelona football club for his home race at the Catalunya Circuit in Spain. The FC Barcelona seal and jersey adorn Lorenzos helmet and bike.

“I’m very proud to be here in the colours of my team,” said the Barcelona resident. “I was there in Rome for the final and watching Barca win was like a dream! I’m so happy to be able to show my support for them in this way at our home t rack, and I hope the fans will like it because I know many of them are also big Barcelona fans!”
