MotoGP 2010 Provisional Schedule

Motorcycle USA Staff
The FIM has posted the 2010 MotoGP provisional schedule. The season will start, once again, under the lights at Qatar and end in the Spanish sunshine at Valencia. Other similarities to the 2009 schedule include the addition of a round at Balatonring in Hungary, although the Hungarian GP was canceled this season. Remedying such a cancelation for 2010 is Spain’s Motorland Aragorn Circuit, which is labeled as the “reserve circuit.”

The Rizla Girls will be donning the blue umbrellas for 18 planned Grand Prix according to the 2010 MotoGP provisional schedule.

Familiar quirks for 2010 include the Assen round being run on Saturday and the USGP at Laguna Seca only including the premier MotoGP class. All-new for 2010 is the selection of Silverstone for the sole British GP, which replaces Donington on the Grand Prix tour.
