2009 Motocross of Nations Sunday Buzz

European MX umbrella girls... Nice.
Pay no attention to the umbrella, the weather is perfect for racing!

Team USA is ready to take on the world this afternoon at the 2009 Red Bull Motocross of Nations. The team was sixth in qualifying heats yesterday but is confident and ready.

The weather is excellent and the track is great.

Some pit buzz:

Youthstream held a press conference this morning to confirm the 2010 MXoN will be at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Co, and the 2011 MXoN will return to St Jean d’Angeley, where it was held in 2000.

KTM is expected to confirm its 2010 US racing plans in a press release. Watch for them to confirm that Tommy Searle is racing for the KTM factory in SX Lites, and Mike Alessi will join the team for the summer, after doing the first three GPs.
