MotorcycleUSA.com has selected the two winners of the Rob Thomas Twitter Contest. Anyone who began following the MotoUSA Twitter account during the month of October was entered to win one of two Rob Thomas Prize Packs that included a t-shirt, tour program, beanie, pin, a Tails to Remember documentary DVD, wristband, and poster as well as a copy of the new DVD, Something to Be. The contest’s lucky winners were Mindy Lee from Oakland, CA and Joseph Bettencourt from Tigard, OR.
Mindy has been riding scooters since 2007 and currently owns a Flyscooter Cadenza. She loves riding with her small dog, not the one in the picture, and plans on moving on to a motorcycle in the near future.
“I love the speed, thrill and relaxation of riding” said Lee. “I’m really glad to win because I enjoy the talented Rob Thomas’ music and lyrics.”
Joseph started riding in 2008 on a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250. Within months he had convinced his two brothers and father to buy motorcycles and they now enjoy riding all over Oregon. Joseph has become so passionate about motorcycles over the past two years that he is now planning on attending the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix next fall.
While the Rob Thomas Twitter Contest has ended, Motorcycle USA is already offering your next chance to win! Become a fan of the Motorcycle-USA Facebook page between now and December 31st and you will be entered to win a Dell Mini 10 Laptop. You can get the complete official rules at the Motorcycle-USA Win a Laptop Page. Good Luck!
