The 2011 Husqvarna off-road motorcycles keep rolling in and the latest is a small bore 2-stroke enduro aimed directly at riders looking for a light, agile yet full size bike. The 2011 WR150 features a chromolly trellis frame with a 144cc engine wrapped in the slick-looking red/white/black Husky IPD (In-mold plastic decoration) graphics and bodywork. It features the same headlight and taillights as the 2010 model WR125 so if you’re lucky enough to live in an OHV friendly state you might have a shot at getting a plate for this little zinger too.

Suspension duties are handled by a 50mm Marzocchi fork and remote reservoir Sachs shock. Black Excel wheels help give the WR that factory look Husqvarna has a reputation for. The WR150 joins the 2011 TE630 and SMS630 as early release models that are available at your local Husqvarna dealers right now.

“The 2011 WR150 is an impressive package any way you measure it,” says Husqvarna Motorcycles NA president Mark Brady in the official release. “It makes for an ideal complement at the other end of the model line spectrum to its TE630 and SMS630 siblings. The 2011 model year is shaping up to be a break-out year for Husqvarna and we are looking forward to the return to dominance in the off-road motorcycle scene here in America.”

That’s high praise for this little off-road weapon. It is well documented that we are aware of the advantages that a bike like this has in tight, technical trails like we ride here in the Pacific Northwest as well as its potential as a stepping stone to the larger displacement bikes for riders making the jump from true entry-level machines. MSRP is set at $6499.
