Isle of Man TT racing was cancelled on Wednesday due to rain showers, with three planned races postponed until Thursday.

Wednesday races at the Isle of Man TT have been postponed because of poor weather conditions. The second Supersport and Sidecar TTs, as well as the one-lap TT Zero electric race, are rescheduled for Thursday, along with a planned practice lap for Friday’s Senior TT finale.

The second Monster Energy Supersport TT was slated to begin Wednesday morning, but was delayed with rain beginning to fall on sections of the 37.75-mile Mountain course. In the early afternoon, racing was officially called off for the day.

The revised Thursday program is as follows:
12:15 p.m. – Dainese Senior TT Practice Lap
1:00 p.m. – Sure Sidecar TT (three laps)
3:00 p.m. – Monster Energy Supersport TT (four laps)
5:00 p.m. – TT Zero (one lap)

Headlining Thursday’s action will be Ian Hutchinson’s quest to tie Phillip McCallen’s standing record of four wins in a single TT week. The Padgetts Honda rider will contest the four-lap Supersport TT at 3:00 p.m. Should he claim victory, Hutchy could pull off an unprecedented five-TT victories in a single week with a final triumph in the six-lap Senior TT finale scheduled for Friday.
