Italian motorcycle marque Aprilia will import a new small displacement sportbike aimed at entry-level sport riders into the U.S. Welcome the Aprilia RS4 125.
Visually, the new street bike is queued off Aprilia’s World Superbike Championship winning RSV4 Factory. It features a liquid-cooled 125cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine. The engine is fuel-injected and features a 4-valve cylinder head and double overhead camshaft valve actuation system. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The main frame is of a twin-spar aluminum design with a 41mm inverted fork up front and a shock absorber out back mounted directly to the swingarm. Braking components consist of a solo 300mm disc and a four-piston radial mount caliper up front and a 218mm disc and single-piston caliper rearward. The RS4 rolls on 17-inch six-spoke wheels with tubeless tires.

No word on what the bike will weigh but you can expect it to be even lighter than the 375 pound Kawasaki Ninja 250R. Pricing and availably has yet to be announced.
