MotoConcepts Vince Friese rolls over Brett Metcalfe's Honda after tangling in the first turn. Metcalfe went on to win the LCQ after a red flag.

Many fans were expecting to see a "showdown of the Ryans" in Dallas. It wasn't much of a showdown as Dungey moved to the front off the start as Villopoto struggled mid-pack for most of the race.
