Suzukis Michel Fabrizio placed second in the final day of testing at Portimao despite difficult weather conditions.
Michel Fabrizio has 32 podium finishes to his name and will be Suzuki’s sole effort in the 2011 WSB series.

Alstare Suzuki
Last but not least, Michel Fabrizio will serve as Alstare Suzuki’s lone attempt in the 2011 World Superbike Championship. The Suzuki team will be in good company with the Italian though as the 26-year-old has racked-up 32 podium finishes and four victories throughout his five years in WSB. Fabrizio earned eighth in the 2010 series and looks to be on the right course with his new team after posting competitive laptimes during Portimao testing. So far Fabrizio’s best finish in the series took place during his 2009 season, in which he placed third behind Ben Spies and Noriyuki Haga. In 2010 he managed a single victory at the Kyalami circuit and six more podiums, but ultimately failed to live up to his 2009 performance. With all the focus and support of a new team behind him for 2011, Fabrizio is hoping for another standout season.
