A fun and forward-thinking concept is accelerating in Arizona which will lead one very fortunate individual to a custom motorcycle worth $35,000 by world-renowned manufacturer Sucker Punch Sally’s of Scottsdale. The “The Bad Economy Buster Bling Bike Hunt” is a grassroots effort to “rev up” the local economy that has kept the public busy gathering clues at local merchants in search of the bike’s keys since early February. The hunt runs for nine weeks, with clues distributed weekly, and the finder and incredible custom bike will be revealed at Arizona Bike Week on April 2nd at WestWorld.

Christian Clayton, CEO of Sucker Punch Sally’s, is giving an exciting sneak peak at the custom bike’s design. Using its tried, true and top of the line components which have helped them win “Bike of the Year” five times, SPS is pulling out all the stops when it comes to “The Bad Economy Buster Bling Bike Hunt” treasure.

“It will truly be a prize for whoever finds this one of a kind chopper,” says Christian Clayton, who is currently building the bike in his Scottsdale shop. “The finder can expect the superior craftsmanship, modern components and old-school aesthetic SPS choppers are known for.”

The bike will begin with a custom frame by Sucker Punch Sally’s and will utilize parts generously donated by Bikers Defense, Hawg Halter, Russ Wernimont, Custom Chrome, Billet Boys, Denver Choppers, S&S, KA Cycles, Belt Drive LTD, Ride Wright Wheels, Hell Cats Custom, Ramjet Racing and Avon Motorcycle Tyres of North America. Although the stunning finished product will not be revealed until April 2nd at Arizona Bike Week, highlights include: An 80 cubic-inch Harley-Davidson motor with black chrome upgrade; A patented Sucker Punch Sally’s H-Bomb oil tank; A Revtech transmission and BDL belt drive which are signature components to Sucker Punch Sally’s customs; A premier Russ Wernimont design fender, also an SPS standard, which will be mounted to the bike with Sucker Punch Sally’s Hot Rod struts; A Sucker Punch Sally’s hand-turned brass foot and hand controls that will continue the one-of-a-kind look; and a mind-blowing paint job by the experts at Sinthium Paint Shop in Phoenix. “Truly the best in the state,” says Christian, “no two are the same.”


In an effort to boost customer foot traffic for small business owners, “The Bad Economy Buster Bling Bike Hunt” is a unique statewide promotion that has the public eagerly gathering clue access IDs from participating retailers, restaurants and specialty shops. Upon obtaining each clue access ID on a weekly basis, participants visit to view a video clue. Every clue leads them one step closer to finding the keys to a custom motorcycle from Sucker Punch Sally’s worth over $35K. Thirty plus businesses are participating including trendy restaurants, hip clothing boutiques, local wineries, highly-respected construction companies, and various motorcycle service and retail shops.
