Hilde is holding down the fort at MotoUSA's Southern Oregon HQ. With world-class dirt bike and ATV trails just minutes away, the hardest part is getting him to focus on the keyboard. Two wheels or four, it doesn't matter to our Off-Road Editor so long as it goes like hell in the dirt.

We spent the better part of a week hanging out with the Am-Pro Yamaha squad at their home base in South Carolina and tagging along for Round 3 of the GNCC series in Steele Creek, North Carolina. During that time we shot some photos and video of the team doing suspension testing with Factory Connection on Randy Hawkins’ private farm. The facility houses a motocross track, EnduroCross track, woods course and grass track – everything an off-roader needs to hone their skills on a dirt bike. At the end of the day we caught some great light and MotoUSA picture-taker Justin Dawes snapped off a few beauty shots against the South Carolina greenery.

Everyone likes a good whip sequence, so check out the one below of Am-Pro Yamaha GNCC XC1 racer Thad DuVall. Two days later he was flown to the hospital from Steele Creek with a broken arm, dislocated hip and bruised femur – a nasty reality in this line of business. One thing’s for sure, his

crash wasn’t for a lack of talent. DuVall obviously knows his way around a Yamaha YZ450F – not too shabby for a woods rider.
