Steve Rapp and Mission Motors won this morning’s combined FIM E-Power and TTX Championships race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Rapp used the superior motor power of his Mission Motors machine to decimate the 10-rider field winning the eight lap race by nearly 40 seconds. Second place went to Michael Czysz on his Segway Racing / MotoCzysz machine. Veteran road racer Michael Barnes finished third at the controls of the Lightning Motorcycles entry. Brammo Racing’s Steve Atlas had some form of electric & transmission gremlins which held him back from a better result. He finished fourth ahead of Italy’s Alessandro Brannetti and German rider Matthias Himmelmann.
