For 2012 the optical aces at Oakley have revamped some of its off-road motorcycle goggles. For those on a budget there is the Oakley Proven MX Goggles. Like the entire line, this eye protection features three layers of foam to absorb sweat and to keep dirt and dust from entering. The scratch resistant lens block UV rays and provides some degree of protection and is shatter resistant. The lens also uses a special coating to resist fogging up and are also compatible with Oakley tear-offs. Price starts at $45.

With a price tag starting at $60, the Oakley Crowbar MX Goggles offers mid-level eye protection. The Crowbar’s include all the same features as the Proven goggles with a slightly modified shape and a removable nose guard. The lens is also more robust offering a higher level of impact protection.

For those riders seeking the utmost in both style and protection, check out the Oakley Mayhem Goggles. The profile of the goggle’s features a new aggressive-looking shape that provides the utmost in peripheral vision with removable nose protection. The Mayhem come with two interchangeable lens (clear and Dark Grey) that utilize the same impact resistance and UV lens as the Crowbar. A pack of tear-offs is also included. Lastly, Iridium coated lens are available for the Mayhem Goggle which increases glare resistance. Prices start at $70.
