Summer is a time for the cold drinks, barbecues, sunburns and of course…the launch of Alpinestars Fall line of motorcycle gear. For 2011, the Italian brand has a slew of new gear to keep you safe and comfortable whether you’re on the road, track or any combination of the two.

New for 2011, the $799.95 Carver One Piece leather suit aims to give riders all of the latest race suit technology at an awesome price point. The Carver is constructed of 1.3mm full-grain leather, utilizing high-density perforations in the front panel for airflow and Aramidic fiber stretch panels on the torso, arms, crotch and back of the knees for an optimal fit. One noteworthy feature is the utilization of lightweight mesh in the calf panels, giving you a more breathable and comfortable fit below the boot. The Carver also sports CE certified GP protectors in the elbows, shoulders, and knee-shin area. Just like A-stars’ other race suits, the Carver has a snap-in connection for the Bionic Race Back Protector and utilizes polyurethane sport knee sliders.

The Carver suit is also available as a two-piece option for the same price. The jacket and pant combo has the same features of the one-piece Carver, but uses a full-circumference zipper to attach the two. The Carver jacket also features some very practical hidden side pockets.
