2012 Ducati 848 EVO Corse SE.

With the release of Ducati’s next generation 1199 Panigale Superbike, 2012 will undoubtably be the final year of the 848 Superbike. To commemorate this, Ducati is offering an up-spec traction control-equipped version dubbed the 848 EVO Corse SE.

In addition to its special red/white/black Corse livery, the Corse SE gets a pair of larger diameter front brake discs (up 10mm from 320). More upgrades come in the form of an Ohlins gas-charged shock absorber. Front suspension continues to be sourced from Showa.

A push button eight-way adjustable traction control system has also been fitted along with an electronic quick-shifter. No word on pricing or U.S. availability, but MSRP should be right around $15 grand based on the price of the ’11 version (Dark Stealth color way $12,995.).
