The International Master Bike Builders Association (IMBBA) Motorcycle Appraisers course is now in final editing and will be released and published next month. The Appraisers course is 250 pages of content, instructions, and training requirements. The document includes forms and a network of comparables will be hosted on the IMBBA/Chopper Institute of America’s LMS website featured in the “My Motorcycle Education” portal.

The LMS is now ready to be released and available to students, builders, aftermarket manufacturers where industry professionals will be able to login and take the Motorcycle Appraisers Course that leads to an IMBBA certification. IMBBA Director of Motorcycle Appraisers, Miles Brown has completed the necessary requirements for the insurance industry to accept the designed format and appraisals approved by his office. This opens up for the first time in the motorcycle industry where motorcycle professionals can receive a third party certification to their training, education, and expertise that will go into their formatted appraisal. This of course means additional potential revenue to those who qualify and become certified by IMBBA to conduct appraisals on motorcycles.

Miles Brown, IMBBA certified Master Bike Builder and Associate Judge headed up what took several years to develop. It is hoped by IMBBA Founder/ President, Jeff Starke that this will change the landscape of how appraisals are written and by whom they are written. This obviously adds tremendous value and creditability to the appraisal process moving forward in the power sports industry.

The best professionals to appraise a motorcycle are those that are certified as an IMBBA judge, motorcycle instructor, and / or Bike Builder Level II and above. The Appraisers course will be live on line on the LMS for those who wish to become a certified motorcycle appraiser. For more information contact:
