Fantasy racing returns to where players can sign up for free and contest the Fantasy Motocross 2012 season. Based on action from the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships, Fantasy Motocross 2012 lets players select three riders from the 250 and 450 classes at each of the 12 championship rounds.

Players can choose new riders each time the gate drops, and points will be given for the riders’ individual finishes in all 24 motos. In addition to competing in the overall championship, fantasy players can create their own leagues and invite friends to participate. It’s the ultimate way to earn bragging rights.

The player who accumulates the most points at the end of the season will wear the crown. They’ll also be wearing a new Bell Moto-9 helmet as the grand prize. Read the complete Game Rules for details on how to play and visit the Terms and Conditions page for prize details.

“We made a couple changes that will make it even easier to play, so the 2012 season is going to be our best yet,” says MotoUSA Off-Road Editor, JC Hilderbrand. “Fantasy racing is all about fun and the updated format makes it more playable and less confusing for new members. Not to mention, this year is shaping up to be very interesting with big injuries and team changes for top riders.”

Having the 450 and 250 classes provides twice as much fun with a full list of riders to choose from – veterans like Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, Davi Millsaps and Andrew Short, and young guns such as Justin Barcia, Ken Roczen, Malcolm Stewart and Justin Bogle. Fantasy players will have to implement strategy and hope for some luck as the long season wears on. How will James Stewart perform on his new Suzuki? What happens if the factory Honda riders come back from injury late in the season? Will Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki be able to retaliate against Geico Honda for the 250 title?
