His insatiable thirst for life is only surpassed by his monthly fuel bill. Whether rocketing on land, flying through the air, or jumping the seas, our Road Test Editor does it all and has the scars to prove it.

AMA Superbike racer Steve Rapp participated in this years test giving us invaluable insight.
Steve Rapp broke his wrist at Infineon while filling-in for Steve Atlas and the Brammo e-bike entry.

AMA Superbike motorcycle racer, Steve Rapp, fractured a bone in his wrist on Saturday at Northern California’s Infineon Raceway during qualifying in the TTXGP electric bike class. Rapp who normally rides for the Attack Performance team in the American Superbike class was filling-in for Brammo’s Steve Atlas after he crashed and broke six vertebrae in his back earlier in the weekend. Rapp crashed in the same corner as Atlas (Turn 9) due to an unknown mechanical issue with the motorcycle. Rapp was unable to compete in Sunday’s American Superbike race but expects to be healed in time for the Miller Motorsports round later this month in Utah. Unfortunately he’ll also be unable to test ride during Motorcycle-USA’s upcoming Superbike Shootout.
