Six teams of local high school students and their bike-building mentors will proudly be displaying their hard work at Discovery World over the month of July.

Founded by The Iron Horse Hotel in 2011, BUILD offers students the opportunity to learn valuable trade, business and life skills while restoring vintage motorcycles. Each team was provided with a “barn-find” condition Honda CB175, $2,000 and 100 days to complete the restoration. The bikes were raced at AHRMA’s Vintage Classic Weekend at Road America, taking home two second place wins.

The BUILD bikes will be displayed at Rockerbox Milwaukee Motofest on August 4, and on August 30, several of the bikes will be auctioned at The Iron Horse Hotel’s BUILD Live Auction event. All proceeds will benefit the program.
