The leathers Cal Crutchlow is wearing above along with two seats to the GP at Laguna Seca and a pit tour are currently being auctioned to help benefit Feed the Children.
Just like Cal Crutchlow and his Monster Energy/Tech 3 Yamaha YZR-M1 did at last weekend’s British Grand Prix–in which “The Honey Badger” raced from last-place on the starting grid to sixth place at the checkered flag–Cal’s eBay Auction to benefit Feed the Children, Yamaha Motor Corporation’s corporate charity, is also gaining traction.
Cal’s management team has generously secured two Pole Position Hospitality Club seats and a special tour of Cal’s pit box at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, July 27-29, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, and those two items have been added to the to the auction package.
The Club seats and pit-box tour join the list of other items that are already part of the charity auction listing, including the historic set of custom-made Spidi road racing leathers that Cal wore during his dramatic run through the field of riders at last weekend’s British Grand Prix, the pair of weekend 3-day general admission passes–including paddock access–to next month’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the hotel accommodations in the Monterey area for the entire race weekend, and the appearance on stage Saturday evening during the scheduled, GE-sponsored concert ceremonies to receive the personally autographed gear directly from Cal.
“The auction listing was already a once-in-a-lifetime deal with Cal’s race-worn leathers and the tickets and accommodations to this year’s Red Bull U.S.G.P.,” commented Bob Starr, General Manager of National Communications for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group. “And now, the two Pole Position Hospitality Club seats really turn it into an extra-special package of exciting memories that will last a lifetime…and all to benefit Feed the Children, which is such a worthy cause. We can’t thank Cal enough for sweetening the auction listing even more.”
The auction is running live on eBay right now and will continue through June 26. To place your bid, please visit the following link:
