Byron's sure to be hunched over a laptop after the checkers are flown, caught in his own little version of heaven. Whether on dirt, street or a combination of both, MotoUSA's newest addition knows the only thing better than actually riding is telling the story of how things went down.

Motorcycle USA media partner, Cycle News, provides in-depth coverage of the week’s racing action in its latest July 17, 2012 issue. Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey posted another perfect weekend in 450 motocross, this time in front of his home crowd at Spring Creek in Millville, Minnesota. Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett and Geico Honda’s Eli Tomac split wins in the 250 class at the same event, with Tomac coming out on top overall once the dust had settled. MotoGP commands center stage though, with a report from Round 9 at Mugello where Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jorge Lorenzo scored his fifth win of the season, as well as a preview of the coming Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Also included is a look back at 10 of the biggest moments in MotoGP history, from the switch to four-stroke engines, Kenny Roberts’ successful move from dirt to road racing in the late 70’s, a look at how electronics have changed the game (for better or worse) and, finally, a reminder of just how dangerous the sport has been and can be in the closing “Memento Mori.” The Mid-Ohio round of AMA Pro Road racing receives full attention as well as Women’s Motocross at RedBud and the John Penton GNCC. One of motocross racing’s finest, Chad Reed, sits down to talk about his new team and the 2013 season and Husqvarna’s 2013 dual purpose offerings, the TR650 Strada and TR650 Terra, are introduced.
