Byron's sure to be hunched over a laptop after the checkers are flown, caught in his own little version of heaven. Whether on dirt, street or a combination of both, MotoUSA's newest addition knows the only thing better than actually riding is telling the story of how things went down.

Motorcycle USA media partner, Cycle News, brings you full race coverage and detailed industry news in their most recent, July 24, 2012 issue. The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship headed west for the Peterson CAT Washougal National in Washington State where in an incredible 450 Moto 1, MotoConcepts Mike Alessi upset Red Bull KTM rider Ryan Dungey’s 10 moto win streak, outpacing the current points leader in one of the most dramatic races this year. Dungey fired back in Moto 2 and took the win by a substantial margin, but Alessi’s training and consistency on track showed that Dungey’s hold on the championship is not yet absolute. In MotoGP, BMW Motorrad’s Marco Melandri earned his, and his manufacturers, first World Superbike sweep, beating out Kawasaki’s Tom Sykes in both Races at Brno. Eddie Krawiec took his fourth Pro Stock Motorcycle event of the season in an all Harley-Davidson final at the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway and Taylor Robert came one step closer to winning his first WORCS title after taking his sixth victory of the season at Pala Raceway. Cycle News editors were given a rare opportunity to test two Crocker 61 CI V-Twins before they’re auctioned at Bonhams in August and four newbies hit the Honda Rider Education Center in Colton, California for an introduction to off road dirt-bike riding.
