Byron's sure to be hunched over a laptop after the checkers are flown, caught in his own little version of heaven. Whether on dirt, street or a combination of both, MotoUSA's newest addition knows the only thing better than actually riding is telling the story of how things went down.

Motorcycle USA media partner, Cycle News, is stacked with action from the recent Red Bull US Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The July 30, 2012 issue details the 32 lap MotoGP contest where Repsol Honda’s Casey Stoner blasted past current points leader Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha Factory Racing for the win. The AMA series also took to the track in Salinas, California and Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes made SuperBike history by earning his eighth straight win of the season. Yamaha Extended Service’s Cameron Beaubier stole the win from Geico Suzuki’s Martin Cardenas with a final lap pass in Daytona SportBike and Celtic Racing’s James Rispoli came one step closer to securing his second successive SuperSport series title win. Elsewhere in California, AMA Pro Flat Track riders battled in Sacramento during the 47th running of the Sacramento Mile. Further north in Washington State, Ashley Fiolek went 1-1 in Women’s Motocross at Washougal and crept closer to Jessica Patterson’s championship points lead. Outside racing, editors took the new Honda PCX150 scooter for a spin and then spent some time at the Rawhyde Adventure Camp learning the intricacies of handling a 600-pound adventure touring bike on the back roads.
