For 2012 Alpinestars brings the new Atem one-piece leather suit The $1499.95 fully CE-certified suit offers a high-level of protection for the street and track. Tested in World Superbike and MotoGP, the Atem suit is made up from 1.3mm leather construction featuring multiple flexible leather stretch panels for a custom fit feel. The Atem is just one level below Alpinestars top-of-the-line Racing Replica one-piece suit. The Atem is available in three different colors, black/white, black/white/red, and white/black/yellow fluorescent.
Also updated for fall ’12 is the suit department is the GP Pro one-piece leather suit. Designed for the devoted sportbike and track rider the GP Pro suit gives riders the latest racing suit technology at an affordable price of just over a thousand bucks ($1099.95).
Not only did Alpinestars bring the new Atem suit in for the Fall but they also introduced the new Atem leather jacket. Developed at Alpinestars race performance department, the $699.95 jacket is derived from the full suit featuring high-performance protection technology complete with a racing-inspired look. The jacket features a removable security strap attached to the base to help maintain its position during a feet first type crash. The Atem leather Jacket is available in sizes 48-60.
Also available at a slightly lower price is the GP Pro leather jacket at $529.95 also available in sizes 48-60. The 1.3mm full grain leather jacket includes protection features such as PU external sliders and CE-certified GP elbow and shoulder protectors.
Alpinestars introduces a re-engineered version of its class-leading GP Pro Glove ($239.95) for the 2012 fall season. Improvements include more flexibility in the fingers and an updated strap along the wrist. Maximum protection with outstanding performance pieced together with a lightweight design is achieved by using only the best materials including various types of leather and Kevlar. Kangaroo leather is used in the palm and finger areas to meet the criteria.
The GP Plus glove is also offered again providing close to the same features as the GP Pro with a significantly lower price ($189.95). The multi-material construction offers a protected and accurate fit and like the GP Pro, contains the Alpinestars patented finger-bridge which is designed to prevent contortion and fingers separation.
