Sandro Cortese was fastest in Moto 3 qualifying at Indy.
Sandro Cortese narrowly lost out to Luis Salom in the Moto3 class at Indianapolis.

Spain’s Luis Salom won the 23-lap Moto 3 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway over German riders Sandro Cortese and Jonas Folger. The top three riders were all racing KTM-powered machines.

Salom, Cortese and Maverick Vinales raced each other hard for the duration of the race with the three routinely taking turns up front until Vinales crashed with only a few laps to go. Folger also had a challenging race having to slice through the field after completing the first lap in ninth place.
