Kenan Sofuoglu 54 took the Supersport win at Moscow.
Kenan Sofuoglu (54) kept ahead of Jules Cluzel (16) to take his third win of the season in World Supersport.

Kawasaki Lorenzini’s Kenan Sofuoglu took a commanding World Supersport win at Moscow Raceway, leading all but the opening two laps and building a gap of over five seconds on PTR Honda’s Jules Cluzel. Local rider Vladimir Leonov of Yakhnich Motorsport put forth one of his best performances of the year and earned the final spot on the podium.

Sofuoglu’s teammate Sheridan Morais earned fourth, well ahead of Ten Kate Racing’s Broc Parkes, who finished in fifth. Kawasaki Intermoto Step’s Fabien Foret held to sixth, fending off pressure from Bike Service R.T.’s Andrea Antonelli, who ended in seventh. PRORACE’s Gabor Talmacsi took eighth with Team Lorini’s Roberto Tamburini and Bodganka PTR’s Mathew Scholtz finishing in ninth and 10th respectively.

Scholtz’s teammate Sam Lowes scored 12th after incurring a penalty for jumping the start. As a result, he slips down to third in overall points behind his PTR teammate Jules Cluzel. Former WSS champ Sofuoglu retains the overall lead by a comfortable 33-point margin.
