Justin Brayton goes back to JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha for 2013 and 2014.

Justin Brayton tied mathematically with Ryan Dungey in the 2012 Supercross Championship and finished the season in fourth. He had a difficult transition to the outdoor Nationals, but was able to move up the points list by the end of the year to finish in seventh overall. Brayton left JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha at the end of 2011 to ride for the American Honda team, but now returns to Team Blue just in time for the Monster Energy Cup in October. Brayton’s announcement was made public by JGRMX in the press release, included in full, below. – MCUSA Byron Wilson

The JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha Team is proud to be reunited with Justin Brayton, who rode for the team during the 2010 and 2011 racing seasons. Brayton is back with Joe Gibbs Racing for at least the next two years. “I am excited to be back, it’s like a family at JGR and the bike is really good, I am looking forward to the Monster Energy Cup and the 2013 supercross and motocross seasons,” said Brayton. “Justin always gives 100% and takes great care of our sponsors, we are glad to welcome him back to the team,” commented team owner, Coy Gibbs.

The next race for the JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha Team is expected to be the Monster Energy Cup on October 20, 2012 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. SPEED will broadcast the action live starting at 10:00 p.m. (EST). The 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series presented by Toyota begins Jan. 5 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif.
