David Mann Chopper Fest guitar by Nick Perri
Nick Perri of Perri Ink. Cartel has created this killer handmade custom guitar with a little help from his friends. The guitar was made in honor of the 9th Annual David Mann Chopper Fest. It only costs $5 for a chance to win this one-off electric guitar valued at $3000, and you’ll get two music downloads to boot. The winner will be announced on-stage at this year’s Chopper Fest.

Often referred to as the “Norman Rockwell” of the biker lifestyle, David Mann captured the essence of the this lifestyle like few others in paint as he created unforgettable works of art like “Ghost Rider” and “Thunder Struck.” So with the 9th Annual David Mann Chopper Fest right around the corner, guitarist and entrepreneur Nick Perri wanted to do something special in honor of the late, great Mann and the festival that carries his name.

“Over the last two months I’ve been building a custom guitar for the 9th annual David Mann Chopper Fest. I’ve been riding the fence with custom guitars and custom motorcycles for a while now, but decided with this build to jump in and really merge the two worlds,” Perri said in a recent email.

Perri didn’t have to go far to look for help with the project. He enlisted the services of other members of his lifestyle shop, Perri Ink. Cartel, to make an incredible custom-made electric guitar. Taber Nash, the in-house motorcycle customizer of Perri Ink. Cartel and proprietor of Nash Motorcycle Co., chipped in by creating handmade parts for it and oversaw projects like its laser-engraved pick guard. Spagetty’s Garage owner and painter Spencer Getty supplied the striking paint. Perri then teamed up with David Mann Chopper Fest promoter Tory Duvarney and event founder David Hansen and came up with the idea to create an online promotion where one lucky person will win this handmade, American-built custom guitar.

Chances to win are only $5 and for the price you automatically get a couple of music downloads, two brand new original songs by Perri if I’m not mistaken, so nobody goes away a loser. The guitar has TV Jones pickups and GHS Strings in addition to its custom paint and is valued at $3000. The winner will be announced live from the stage at the 9th
