Endurance Races have always been a rider’s race. We come together and test ourselves against our machines, the track, and each other. It’s more of a community than a competition. That’s why we decided last year that the final race of the season would be dedicated to a fellow racer who has passed.
This year, the Four Hour Endurance Series at OVRP would like to take a day to remember a great friend of the sport, Pete Giammalvo. Pete was known to many for his participation in all forms flat-track racing, and from his work to promote the sport in Sideways Promotions.
Pete lives on in the racers that he influenced and through the success of the sport he helped promote.
Last year’s race was dedicated to the memory of both Alex Lyskawa and Connor LaFrance.
Come out to OVRP on Sunday, October 28, for a Four-Hour Endurance Race in upstate NY. There will be prizes for the best costume both on and off the track. Also, PJ Jacobsen will be back from Europe and racing in the event.
M/C Members get a free hotdog and soda with their admission.
