Sena Technologies unveils the new helmet to helmet communication devices SMH5-FM and SMH10R at INTERMOT.
Sena Technologies, Inc., a Bluetooth innovator in the motorcycle and outdoor activities market, is pleased to announce that it will be showing off its state of the art, all-new Bluetooth communication devices at this year’s INTERMOT, the leading motorcycle, scooter and bicycle trade fair. At INTERMOT, Sena will unveil for show goers and the press its pioneering new intercom products including the SMH10R for sport bike riders and the SMH5-FM with built-in FM radio tuner. The SMH10R is an ultra-slim Bluetooth intercom/headset though and still has all of the sought-after features of Sena Technologies’ SMH10. The SMH5-FM is a brand new Bluetooth headset/intercom that also incorporates an FM tuner. In the last two months, Sena Technologies has also introduced two other groundbreaking Bluetooth devices to resounding accolades. The company’s SPH10H, a Bluetooth headset/intercom system, designed specifically for half-helmet users, features the latest Bluetooth v3.0, advanced digital signal processing technology and easy-to-access, intuitive button operations. The SM10 Bluetooth Dual Streaming Audio Transmitter allows a rider and passenger to listen to the same audio from one source as it is streamed via Bluetooth into their headset/intercoms. Sena invites all INTERMOT attendees, including the press, to stop by its interactive display booth and to test its full line of motorcycle helmet accessories, and to meet its executives. Other Sena Technologies representatives will also be on hand to explain how the headset/intercom units work and to illustrate a user’s best pairing options for each unit. The addition of a Sena headset to any helmet allows a rider to stay connected while on the road to his friends and loved ones via hands free Bluetooth, as well as to other riders and passengers in the riding group via the unit’s intercom system. The expo opens its doors from October 3rd to October 7th in Cologne, Germany. Sena Technologies’ booth is located inside Hall 07.1 Booth #E069. “INTERMOT is one of the world’s most recognized trade expositions in the motorcycle, scooter and bicycle industries” said Tae Kim, president and CEO of Sena Technologies. “With all of our new products being introduced at the show, we felt it extremely beneficial to be in front of such an important audience.”
Attendees of the five-day event will get to test the entire line of Sena Bluetooth headset/intercom systems for themselves, giving them the experience of what it would be like to utilize the units while riding the mountains or cities of Europe, off road in South America or anywhere else their travels take them. The interactive experience allows show goers to try on a helmet outfitted with Sena headsets, see how they work, discover their ease of use, talk to a friend via intercom and more. Sena Bluetooth headset/intercom systems have become more widely used in 2011 and 2012 as even greater emphasis has been put on rider safety and the need to cut down distractions while driving. Users are able to operate nearly all of Sena’s functions using the headset/intercom systems’ easy to use jog dial, which eliminates the need to search for hard-to-find and small function buttons with gloved hands.
