BDM Performance Products is in the process of launching a multi-phase strategy aimed at expanding the company’s product line into new motorcycle industry segments.
BDM Performance Products, the authentic supplier of OEM Parts and Accessories for Big Dog Motorcycles, has expanded its product line to include a comprehensive offering of riding gear and apparel for both on-road and off-road enthusiasts (including Harley-Davidson). This is the first of a multi-phase strategy to diversify the company’s product-line estimated to expand 10-fold over the next 90 days.
In a marketplace served only by the few that can afford distributor-level inventories, BDM spokesman Dave Siggins commented, “We are projected to upload over 20,000 new part numbers every month to our eCommerce website www.bdm.com. We are a lean and efficient company with big-company experience and infrastructure. We can react to meet customer needs rapidly while maintaining market-leading prices.”
Regarding the details of the launch, BDM’s Director of Sales, Matt Moore, commented, “The first phase of the expansion contains a holiday-focused launch of apparel and gear, including a broad range of helmets, gloves, jackets and outstanding gift opportunities. We have implemented a strategic marketing campaign to inform customers we carry many more products than those exclusively for Big Dog Motorcycles. We will be advertising daily specials through December via print, social media, and web-based advertising channels.” Moore continued, “In addition, our centralized Kansas distribution center permits timely delivery for a great value – only $5 per shipment.”
