DragonFire Vance Hines Exhaust System.
The DragonFire Vance & Hines exhaust system promises to add some oomph to your RZR XP or XP 4 UTV.

Vance & Hines has teamed up with DragonFire to offer a new exhaust system for any Polaris RZR XP or XP 4. The new DragonFire by Vance & Hines exhaust system boasts a number of premium features including weight reduction and performance gains throughout the rev range.

The V&H system meets all USFS sound and spark arrestor specifications and is made of brushed, finished stainless steel. Slash-cut outlet caps provide quick change access to spark arrestors and a specially designed airbox heatshield promises to protect surrounding plastic components from high temperatures. It also comes with laser cut heatshields to help keep the cockpit and pilot from overheating as well.

The new DragonFire by Vance & Hines exhaust system claims a deeper, throaty sound without blasting out ear drums, as the decibel ratings are just a few points higher than the stock exhaust. According to DragonFire PR, the OEM system registered at 81.5 dB while idling and the new V&H system rated at 86.1 dB. At 8000 rpm the OEM system came in at 105.6 dB while with the V&H exhaust kicked it up to 109.4 dB. A crossover mid-pipe is said to equalize back pressure and help provide increased torque. DragonFire marketing guru Chris Moore said in a company statement announcing the new system:

“We went to Vance & Hines with a long list of what we were looking for in our new Dual Exhaust system,” said Moore. “More power, increased torque, lighter weight, improved style and a low decibel rating… Vance & Hines took our list and not only met, but surpassed every expectation.

“Heat is always a major concern, and V&H came up with a great solution,” added Moore. “Canister-style heatshields front and rear prevent heat from becoming an issue while also functioning as a debris shield.”

“This performance did not come at the cost of compromising style,” said Moore. “The system has a high and tight profile with OEM levels of fit and finish. Stainless steel construction, slash-cut exhaust tips and integrated USFS spark arrestors sit at the end of polished exhaust canisters make this one sharp looking system!”

The listed MSRP for the DragonFire Vance & Hines exhaust system is $979.95.
