Oakley Airbrake – Revolution in Goggle Design

Competing in every discipline of motorcycle racing possible, when he isn't mastering his skill of social networking, the new kid will do just about anything to throw his leg over a bike and ride it until he simply cannot hold on anymore.

Oakley aims to redefine the standards of motocross optics with an all-new Airbrake MX goggle.

Performance apparel and accessory company, Oakley, aims to bring new standards to the world of motocross eye protection with its new Airbrake MX goggle. Oakley says its latest product is revolutionary and goggle design will “never be the same.” The goggle is expected to set a new standard in motocross optics while integrating new innovative materials.

Many who ride or race off-road have suffered some form of head injury due to impact. Whether it’s getting hit by a rock, or, getting cut by the lens in a crash, the all-new state-of-the-art eye wear is supposed to increase safety in this area. No specifics have been released yet so stay tuned for another report when we get our hands on a set.

MotoUSA reached out to James Stewart‘s publicist in regards to the new product but he is in “SX boot camp” and was unavailable for comment.

Folks can see Oakley team riders including riders Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, and more wearing the Oakley Air Brake goggle at Anaheim 1. The goggle will be officially released March 1, 2013.
