Motorcycle Superstore holeshot award returns as holeshot sponsor for the Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship. will reward the quickest riders competing at the upcoming Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship with bonus awards in each of the 32 main events to be held at historic Daytona International Speedway.

The Holeshot Award is worth $100 to the first rider to reach the designated spot in the first corner of each race. Officials with MX Sports will be on hand to officially recognize each winner with a check presentation on the podium.

The Amateur Supercross event, to be held March 10-11, is based on the format used at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch, which also is conducted by MX Sports. Riders of all levels of proficiency are invited to compete and, unlike the Loretta Lynns, there is no need to qualify at feeder events. The race will follow a traditional Supercross format, using heat races and last chance qualifiers to seed the field of riders for each main event. More information on the race is available at

The Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship, produced by MX Sports, offers an opportunity for amateurs to compete on some of the most prestigious motorsports grounds in the world – Daytona International Speedway. Run in conjunction with the Daytona Pro Supercross during the first weekend in March, the two-day amateur event follows a supercross format, using heat races and last chance qualifiers to seed the field of riders into a main event in each class.
