Austin Hosts Music & Motorcycles GP Parties

The classic styling of the appropriately named Victory Cross Roads Classic was a big hit with the riders we encountered during our tenure in Texas.
Austin, Texas, the self-proclaimed ‘Music Capital of the World.’ will be hopping even more than usual this weekend as the first-ever MotoGP race to be held in the Lone Star State comes to town.

This weekend promises an unforgettable spectacle of world-class motorcycle racing, when the Red Bull MotoGP of The Americas comes to Austin. An important part of this high profile race will be the action beyond the track, and downtown Austin will host two Music & Motorcycle parties for visitors, race fans, and locals.

Formula VIP events is creating The Red Club at Austin’s legendary La Zona Rosa on April 19 and 20, which will be the hottest parties in town. On Friday, Grammy award-winning Del Castillo will take the stage around 8PM, followed by a live salsa and tango performance by Dance International. Party goers will then dance the night away until 2AM to dance music with a Latin flare spun by Austin’s own DJ Ray Lopez. The best in Mexican cuisine will be offered by El Sol y La Luna.

On Saturday, April 20 th, The Red Club presents Austin’s most popular and authentic soul rock band, Vallejo, followed by a go-go and burlesque performance by Go-Go Gadgettes. Spinning party and dance music until 2 a.m., DJ Big Rich will ensure a great night of high energy fun. Blue Ox BBQ will be onsite with food, ensuring a true Austin-authentic evening. Free motorcycle parking will be available on Saturday night outside of La Zona Rosa.
