As most may be accustomed with our product review section featuring the latest and coolest parts and gear, this time we’re heading into the apparel department. Clothing brands have found major success by sponsoring motorcycle racers and athletes and most of the time we are used to seeing these brands represented in the casual attire of these sponsored athletes. Fast girl and AMA Daytona SportBike competitor, Melissa Paris, wife of AMA SuperBike champion Josh Hayes, has a different idea on the matter.
Recently in 2012, Paris collaborated with Freegun Underwear to create her own collection of bras and underwear. In return, every cent profited from sales goes toward funding her AMA Pro Racing program on her Honda CBR600RR.
“The amount of support I get from Freegun is incredible,” explained Paris. “They have been a huge part of my race program for the last year. Without their support I wouldn’t be able to do what I love and race motorcycles. I am so grateful to have the backing of Freegun, their underwear is awesome and definitely fits right into my style.”
The collection features one bra (sizes 32B-36C) and two styles of underwear (sizes small to X-Large). The print is styled in typical Melissa Paris fashion featuring an animated version of herself, an innocent-looking girl with a lollipop hiding a knife behind her back, representing the fact that although she may seem cute and innocent, you definitely shouldn’t mess with her unless you want to get choked out in the pits. Included on the print is her racing number, 13, as well as all types of crazy designs and colors.
To purchase Melissa Paris Freegun products and support your favorite female road racer, you can visit her website and order there. Bras can be picked up for $14.95 while underwear is starting at $5.95.
Also, don’t miss out on Melissa’s race results as the 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing season continues after Round 1 at Daytona International Speedway, where she finished a very respectable tenth place in the Daytona 200.
