With the pandemonium surrounding Sturgis, finding where your favorite vendor is set up can be challenging. Fortunately, the City of Sturgis launched a new vendor locator service to help expediate the search.

The City of Sturgis has just launched a new service to help rally enthusiasts quickly locate rally vendors before and during this year’s 73rd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, August 5-11, 2013. The new service is located under SHOP – 2013 Rally Vendors on the official rally website,

Under SHOP – 2013 Rally Vendors, riders can use the SEARCH function to enter a vendor’s name, product or service and find the vendor’s listing. Each vendor’s full-page listing outlines the company’s name, vending address, vending days and hours, and the products and services they are offering at this year’s rally. Between now and August 5th, hundreds of vendors will be added to the service.

“We are encouraging vendors to register for licenses earlier this year to take advantage of this new service. Paid and confirmed 2013 vendors located within the city limits of Sturgis receive the all-text listing as a FREE vendor benefit,” said Brenda Vasknetz, Rally and Events Director.

The service is also available to rally vendors throughout the greater Black Hills for an affordable fee. A special email for vendors has been set up to expedite their vendor listing:
Every year, the City of Sturgis hosts a full spectrum of vendors– manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of motorcycles, motorcycle parts and accessories, and rider wear for motorcyclists who love to travel.

“After traveling hundreds to a 1000 plus miles, riders encounter challenges that can be solved by our 2013 Rally Vendors: eyewear, apparel, footwear, windshields, fairings, handlebars, seats, and other aftermarket parts and accessories. And, of course, a new bike or trike is a great solution too,” said Vasknetz.

During the rally, riders without smartphones can stop by the information booths where friendly rally staff can assist them at the Motorcycle Expo on Lazelle Street or at Rally Headquarters on Main Street, in Sturgis, SD.
