Yamaha has a new Zuma Scooter in its 2014 lineup, the sport-inspired Zuma 50FX. Sport-inspired refers primarily to the color schemes available, Team Yamaha Blue/White and Vivid Yellow/Raven, because the Zuma 50FX carries the same specs and features as Zuma 50F. The 50FX also comes with a single headlight, as opposed to the two on the 50F, to further accentuate the “sportiness” of the new machine.

Yamaha first introduced the Zuma 50F for the 2012 model year, and Yamaha claims the 4-stroke Single has been a hit ever since, thanks largely to its exceptional gas mileage (estimated at 132mpg) and its modest price-tag. Both the 2014 50F and 50FX ring in at $2,590, only $100 more than the inaugural 2012 machine.

The Yamaha Majesty maxi-scooter returns in 2014 too, still boasting the 50 mpg-rated 395cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke and the same $6850 price tag as the previous year’s model. In 2014, however, the luxury scoot will be available in new Candy Red trim.

Other returning scooters in Yamaha’s 2014 lineup include the Zuma 125 and Vino, a retro machine with design features of a more European flavor. MSRP for the Vino is listed at $2290 while the Zuma 125 is priced at $3390.
