Motorcycle-Superstore.com’s Cody Webb took his second consecutive GEICO EnduroCross win of the season in Everett, Washington. FMF/KTM’s Mike Brown finished the main event in second-place ahead of Honda’s Colton Haaker in third.

Webb set the fastest Hot Lap which gave him the first gate pick but it was Brown who took the holeshot and early lead. The KTM ace built a gap on the field through the opening laps while Webb pushed his way up to second-place. The two remained well spaced until the final laps when Webb began to close-in on Brown, and then the gap disappeared when Brown got hung-up in a tricky rock section turn. They powered through the following log portion side-by-side and upon entering the next corner Brown suffered a minor off, allowing Webb to pull the throttle and take the lead with two laps remaining. Brown quickly remounted but couldn’t catch Webb in what little time remained.

“After my first victory in Denver I wanted to prove to myself and everyone else that it wasn’t a fluke,” said Webb. “I had a great night in Everett getting my second win in a row, proving to everyone that I belong at the top.”

“I started making some mistakes towards the end of the race and was really my worst enemy tonight,” explained Brown. “I’m still happy to be on the box and gain some points towards the championship.”

Brown’s teammate, Taddy Blazusiak, had a difficult night thanks to a crash earlier in the day that left him with an injured hand. The defending EnduroCross champ got a bad start and fell outside the top-10 but quickly found a groove and began passing riders, eventually making it to fourth-place before the checkers. Husqvarna rider Cory Graffunder finished fifth followed by Kawasaki’s Taylor Robert in sixth.
