Triumph unveiled a Special Edition Tiger 800XC during the 2013 EICMA show in Italy. The SE retains the 799cc Inline Triple as the standard Tiger 800XC housed in a familiar tubular steel trellis frame.

The trellis frame on the SE is highlighted by new Diablo Red paint that stands out against the Volcanic Black paint covering much of the rest of the machine. The “Volcanic” moniker is earned when sunlight hits the black paint, causing “red metallic highlights (to) burst through” according to company press.

Swtichable ABS, adjustable handlebars, hand guards and seat height, built-in rear rack, pillion grab bars, coded key-immobilizer and other amenities included on the standard Tiger 800XC come with the SE version as well. Triumph plans to have Tiger 800XC SE models on showroom floors by March 2014 with a price-tag of $12,499 USD.
