These should continue to be attributes of the little Single-cylinder Suzuki because its bio primarily reads the same. The 2015 TU250X features a 249cc air-cooled Single-cylinder engine outfitted with Suzuki’s Dual Throttle Valve fuel-injection and digital ignition. Cooling should get a boost from widely-spaced cylinder fins. Spent fuel exits from an attractive chrome exhaust running down and back along the bike’s right side. A catalytic convertor in the exhaust will help on the emissions side.
The 3.2-gallon gas tank features faux cutouts that contribute to its classic styling. Chrome-plated spoke wheels, a round headlight, and twin rear shocks continue to be staples on the small naked bike. The padded seat is fairly long and sits at a height of 30.3 inches. Mid controls and bars within easy reach means the riding position should continue to be upright and relaxed. A claimed curb weight of 326 pounds also adds to its rider-friendliness.
The 2015 TU250X is equipped with a single hydraulic disc on the front with dual-piston calipers while the rear runs a drum brake. It rolls on 18-inch wheels front and back, with a space of 54.1-inches between the two.
Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. stated the 2015 TU250X will be arriving in Suzuki dealers this month. It has an MSRP of $4399, and is available in one color – Metallic Silver and Glass Black. And while you’ll find Suzuki’s little standard in 49 states, don’t look for it in California yet because it hasn’t yet gotten the stamp of approval from the California Air Resources Board which set the most stringent standards in the nation.
