Suzuki claims a stake in the low-displacement dual sport market once again with its 2015 DR200S. The 2015 model features many of the characteristics of the 2013 DR200SE but comes in new Champion Yellow or black body work.

Powered by the same 199cc air-cooled Single as the 2013 version, the 2015 DR200S features a Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material-coated cylinder for lighter weight and increased durability. The mill fires to life via electric start while a digitally regulated CDI system manages ignition timing. The DR200S features a five-speed transmission with wet multi-plate clutch.

The 2015 DR200S rolls on a double-cradle steel pipe frame and soaks up bumps through a telescopic fork and single spring at the rear, which features preload adjustability. Both suspension components travel through 8.1 inches. A single disc brake handles stopping out front while a drum unit provides braking out back.

The major changes featured on the new version of ‘Zook’s little dual sport are in the ergonomics department, with a redesigned fuel tank providing a wider range of seating options for riders of different sizes. The seat is now rounder as well, also to provide a more comfortable ride. Suzuki states that the styling updates, marked by the Champion Yellow option, are drawn from its popular RM-Z dirt bike line.

MSRP for the 2015 DR200S is listed at $4499.

Riders in the market for low-displacement off-road machines will also want to look at the returning DR-Z125L, which comes in Champion Yellow for 2015, features a 124cc Single and more dirt-friendly design. MSRP for the 2015 DR-Z125L is set at $3199.
