Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Blake Baggett swept the 250 Motos at High Point. The KX250F rider extends his winning streak to three, and closes the gap on points leader Jeremy Martin who took second on the overall podium via his 2-6 result. KTM rider Jason Anderson took third in the 250 overall with a 7-2 byline.

In the opening 250 Moto Christophe Pourcel dashed out to the holeshot followed by GEICO Honda’s Justin Bogle. The Frenchman would soon yield the lead, dropping back for a battle for runner-up between Martin and Baggett.

Martin and Baggett would eventually get away from Pourcel, closing in on Bogle. From there Baggett made his move, sticking a pass on both to seize the lead en route to his Moto 1 victory.

With Baggett checking out for the win, Martin was able to dispatch Bogle for his eventual second-place finish. Bogle was unable to retain the final podium spot, as Martin’s Star Yamaha teammate, Cooper Webb, caught the Honda for a third-place finish. Bogle held fourth, followed by Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin, while Pourcel finished sixth.

Anderson held onto second in Moto 2, while Pourcel maintained his podium pace for a third-place finish. Bogle again had to settle for fourth, while Kawasaki’s Justin Hill rounded out the top five. As for Martin, the Yamaha rider was unable to crack the top five and finished sixth, one position ahead of his Star Yamaha teammate, Webb.

Baggett’s High Point dominance chiseled 10 points off Martin’s points lead. However, the Yamaha pilot still commands a 36 point advantage over the Pro Circuit rider. Baggett still has to overtake Martin’s teammate, Webb, who is seven points ahead in second place overall.
