It was a clean sweep for the Motorcycle Superstore / Bell Helmet women at Round 5 of the Big 6 Grand Prix series held this weekend at The Ranch in Anza, CA. Tatum Sik, Elizabeth Bash and Rily Ellinger controlled the podium finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd!

Tatum Sik – “I got off to an unusually decent start, which is not my strong point. I was about 3rd or 4th coming into turn one and made my way into 2nd in the motocross section behind Bash. The off-road section was really tough as it was super silty and the visibility was really bad but eventually I was able to make a pass on Bash. From there I just tried to stay consistent and not make any mistakes. This was my first race back from my knee injury so I was trying to ride within my comfort zone. The track was really rad and had some super long laps and was insanely fun. Can’t wait for the next round.”

Elizabeth Bash – “I had a great start taking the holeshot and lead – at least for half of the first lap. It was a really dusty track and in other places it was wet and slippery. Tatum got by me on the first lap in a really dusty, silty section. I worked on keeping her in sight and then settled into an even pace and held onto the second spot.”

Rily Ellinger – “I was dead last off the start and passed up to 4th relatively fast. I was behind 3rd place and struggled to make the pass because of the dust. On the final lap, I was able to make an aggressive pass on Cortney (Roewer) in the motocross section before we got back into the dust and moved into third. She made a last minute charge and we had a good race to the finish – we were only seconds apart.”
