Byron's sure to be hunched over a laptop after the checkers are flown, caught in his own little version of heaven. Whether on dirt, street or a combination of both, MotoUSA's newest addition knows the only thing better than actually riding is telling the story of how things went down.

Marc Marquez rolled through London, crossing the Millennium Bridge before getting to work at Silverstone.

Turning laps in practice at Silverstone, where Marquez finished fastest through every session.

With the race underway, Jorge Lorenzo took over the front. Marquez proved the only rider capable of keeping pace with the Mallorcan.

Andrea Dovizioso put up a fight for podium position early on, but lost position to Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa as the race progressed.

Bradley Smith was in contention for a top-10 finish at Silverstone before bike issues forced him back to the garage mid-race.

Meanwhile, at the front Marquez took an aggressive line on Lorenzo while challenging for the lead.

Forcing Lorenzo to stand the bike up briefly to avoid going down.

The move gave Marquez a slight advantage over Lorenzo, which he was able to hold through the final laps to the finish.

One rider that wasn’t so lucky, Alvaro Bautista crashed out of the race just before the checkers.

The Doctor fended off attacks from Dovizioso and Pedrosa to finish third at Silverstone…

…which made the Yamaha Grid Girls smile.

Marquez was happiest of all though, taking his 11th win of 2014.
