World SuperEnduro is simalar to the GEICO EnduroCross here in America but runs with a different format which includes a three moto format where overall best total scores determines the winner. There was no question in the Junior Division who the dominate rider was as Ty Tremaine took first place in all three of his races.
“This has been quite an experience to come overseas and race in a foreign country,” explained Tremaine. “I couldn’t be happier to have the finishes I did and bring home the win for our KTM/RPM Racing Team. I can hardly wait for the next round in Germany!”
Cody Webb didn’t quite have the race he was hoping for but after the three mains, Webb ended up on the podium with a third overall behind David Knight and winner Taddy Blazusiak.
“The track conditions were very different and I struggled and had some simple crashes which just hurt my overall results,” said Webb. “To come out with a third place result is actually pleasing after the day I had, so I am happy to be on the podium.”
Round two of the six round FIM SuperEnduro World Championship takes place in Riesa, Germany on January 3, 2015.
