Wheels in Motion/Meen Motorsports’ Joe Roberts made it a double in MotoAmerica Bazzaz Superstock 600, clinching the Race 2 win by 2.4 seconds over second-place finisher, Travis Wyman. Yamaha rider Wyatt Farris rounded out the podium
Just as in Race 1, Roberts ran out to the front early and never looked back. Richie Escalante gave chase in second during the initial stages followed by Bryce Prince. As the race progressed, Wyman started climbing the ranks, catching Escalante during the early laps and battling for second. Four laps into the contest Wyman had bested Escalante for the runner-up spot.

Wyman pushed to close up on Roberts, but couldn’t bridge the two-plus second gap. Farris was making up ground further back and he put the pass on Escalante later in the race for third. The final laps saw Roberts, Wyman and Farris hold steady to the checkers.

Escalante mitigated his losses after Farris passed him, crossing the line in fourth. ICON Motorsports’ Andy DiBrino ended the race in fifth followed by Suzuki rider Nick McFadden in sixth. Honda pilot Ryan Jones claimed seventh followed by Prince in eighth.

Road Atlanta marked the first outing of the year for the Superstock 600 class, and Roberts leaves with a perfect 50 points and the lead in the series. Wyman sits second, 14 points back, followed by Escalante in third and Farris in fourth.
